But now when I forget to dim the high beams I get lots of response from on coming drivers. These are direct replacements and put out much more light the the other upgraded bulbs I tried. They still don't set the road on fire like I would like. Got them quickly. Would do it again.
I am happy with the product but I could not install by myself. Cannot fault the product. Before you purchase you might want to see if you can remove the existing lamps. There was so little clearance that I could not bet my hand into the area to release the locking collar.
They are a little hard to install, but guess that depends on the kind of car you have. They should be changed at the same time, one of my lights is now a little brighter then the other. It gives good front and side light coverage.
From the reviews I expected a substantial improvement, but I can't tell the difference. And the "longer life" in the description is a lie, it says right on the box they won't last as long as normal bulbs.
I bought these after watching the commercial but wasn't impressed by the amount of light from these headlights. I have a hard time seeing at night and thought this would make it much easier for me to drive with these halogen lights. I really saw no difference at all. Don't waste your money.
